Barn Finds

Hidden treasures are to appear in the UK's biggest barn find display at the Practical Classics Classic Car & Restoration Show 2017!

How do you define ‘Barn Find’? To some, it has to be a vehicle covered in four decades worth of dust but to others, it is a car that has lain dormant for many years.  The 25 cars displayed in this year’s Barn Find display had been unearthed from garages, sheds, yards and even the bottom of the garden that have been rescued by passionate enthusiasts.  Some remain in the same condition as the day they went into storage while others would be better to ‘rust in peace’.

Sporting Bear's Dream Rides

The Practical Classics Classic Car & Restoration Show are thrilled to work with the Sporting Bears again in 2017. What better way is there to raise money for charity than by taking a ten mile passenger ride in the car of your dreams?

‘Dream Rides’, run by charity organisation The Sporting Bears Motor Club, offers visitors the opportunity to jump into and experience some of the most spectacular cars in the world, and all you have to do is donate to a wonderful cause. In exchange for a charitable donation, you can pick from the cars in the 'Dream Rides' garage which car you would like to take a ten-mile passenger ride in - the size of the donation depends on the car you choose.

‘Dream Rides’ wouldn’t be possible without the tireless work of the Sporting Bears Motor Club who performs a huge amount of passenger rides each day, at the three day event. They are a group of classic car enthusiasts that raised money for children’s charities across the nation, through their own touring and social events. Each member gives their time, car and fuel for free so every penny raised goes to the nominated charities. There is a Dream Ride for everyone!
