Footman James: More than Motor Insurance
At Footman James, we’re active participants in this community and was awarded Industry Supporter of the Year at the Historic Motoring Awards in 2021 for our work – from supporting automotive clubs large and small to sponsoring YouTube sensation Harry’s Garage and Gary Mavers’ Classic Obsession.
Perhaps we’ve already seen you at one of our Coffee & Chrome Collective meets? Founded in 2019, we’ve welcomed thousands of classics from all corners of the automotive universe to our friendly morning meets. Completely free of charge, we even throw in two free breakfast baps per vehicle too! Hosted in the Midlands, you’ll see supercars parked up next to Morris Minors and classic bikes next to converted military vehicles – you’ll never know what gems you’ll find in each row of vehicles! Find out more out about our meets and how you can join our next one, by visiting our Coffee & Chrome Collective page.
If you have attended one of our meets, it’s likely you’ve also come across our magazine IGNITE. This glossy magazine covers the latest industry news, fascinating editorial stories and practical how-to guides. You’ll be able to pick up a copy from the Footman James Barn Find area at the show but in the meantime, you can take a look our previous editions digitally on our website.
In 2022, we also launched our Indicator Report - a deep dive into the current classic scene, which captures the state of the nation. Across three sections – Owners, Vehicles and Business & Environment – we’ve explored the changes experienced in recent history, as well as what the future may hold. We’ve spoken to FJ clients, classic enthusiasts, industry experts and the general public, resulting in more than fifty pages of intelligence. To take a look at our findings (which some may find surprising!) visit the Indicator page on our website.
Classic Vehicle Insurance
Our classic vehicle insurance policy comes complete with a whole host of benefits such as shows & events cover and cover for your trips to Europe (up to 35 days, restrictions apply). But we also understand that owners are as unique as the vehicles they need to insure, which is why we created FJ+.
FJ+ is a host of additional options you can choose from to tailor your policy to your exact requirements. These include: Breakdown Cover, Agreed Value, Nil Deduction Salvage Retention, Legal Protection and more.
Plus, you can even combine your classic and modern vehicle insurance into just one policy with Flex from Footman James. This means just one renewal date and one premium all while enjoying the benefits you’d expect from separate policies such as no claims bonus for your modern vehicles and show and events cover for your classics.
We also hugely pride ourselves on our levels of customer service, with our Insurance Advisors and online journey winning the Feefo Platinum Award in 2023 – our reviews speak for themselves.
So whether you have a classic vehicle, a combination of classic and modern vehicles or a multi-million pound collection – we have an insurance policy to suit your requirements.
Get an instant quote for your vehicle online today or call 0330 173 6412 to speak to one of our Insurance Advisors. Our phone lines are open weekdays 8am – 6pm and Saturdays 9am – 1pm (hours may change on bank holidays).
Footman James Barn Finds
The quest to discover Britain’s Best Barn Find is on – and this year Footman James is sponsoring the UK’s biggest display of ‘barn find’ vehicles, with visitors invited to vote for their favourite at the three-day celebration of all things restoration. The search has got off to a flying start with Footman James reaching out to its own ‘Coffee & Chrome Collective’ community with great results. You can take a sneak peek at the cars that will be on display from Footman James in their series of blogs.
