)
Rory found this Vauxhall Nova in 2016, rescuing it from a scrapyard where it was on the brink of being lost forever.
Since then the car has undergone a full restoration and custom rebuild which was all done by Rory, transforming it into something truly unique.
The restoration was an extensive process, including bespoke engineering and a complete custom build. Highlights include a flat-floored custom metalwork design, a race-tuned 1.6 8v engine with a custom-built inlet manifold and road-race-ready modifications to ensure it's built for both performance and style.
This Nova holds sentimental value as Rory’s first car was a Vauxhall Nova and it's a rare sight to see a saloon restored especially to a race ready standard.
“What I love most is the intrigue it sparks,” says Rory. “Without its badge, people are often left guessing what car it is. I chose a concrete grey colour, RAL 7023, which gives it an historic yet race look.”
The car has proudly been showcased at the Silverstone Festival, where it's immaculate condition and exceptional craftsmanship has turned heads and earned admiration from enthusiasts. It's rarity ensures it stands out at every event.
“This Nova is more than just a car, it's a personal passion project that I've brought back to life when it thought it's days numbered,” adds Rory. “From the custom engineering to the race-ready build, every detail reflects my dedication to both preserving it's heritage and pushing boundaries of innovation.”
