David Whale is Chairman of the Federation of British Historic Vehicle Clubs and Chairman of the Legislation Working Group of the FIA International Historic Commission. He is retired and lives in Staffordshire but retains commercial interests in his daughter's businesses importing equestrian products from across Europe. His life-long passion encompasses historic vehicles, several of which are sole survivors of their type and span a 1903 Curved Dash Oldsmobile, Pioneer Run eligible 1914 Wall Autowheel through to a 1938 Rosengart SuperSept Grand Luxe Coupe, a pre-production 1964 Mini Moke, 1965 Hilman Farmobile to a Porsche 928 S4.
